Senior Quality Engineer Job Description
In this role, you will work closely with the R&D team to develop and implement quality standards and procedures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, you will develop and analyze quality metrics, conduct audits, and provide training and guidance to team members.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that quality standards and procedures are established and adhered to throughout the product development lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, performing root cause analyses and implementing effective corrective actions
- Develop and analyze quality metrics to track and improve product quality
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes
- Provide training and guidance to team members on quality control processes and techniques
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies related to quality engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and techniques
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Proficiency in industry-standard quality tools and software
