Senior Production Planner Job Description

As a Senior Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production scheduling, inventory management, and on-time delivery of products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, manufacturing, and sales to develop production plans that meet customer demand while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and optimize inventory levels
  • Monitor and analyze production performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and sales teams to forecast demand, allocate resources, and resolve any production-related issues
  • Ensure efficient utilization of production capacity, materials, and resources while minimizing delays and costs
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production planning efficiency and accuracy
  • Manage and maintain accurate production-related data in ERP systems
