Senior Human Resources Specialist Job Description
As a Senior Human Resources Specialist, you will oversee the full range of HR activities and initiatives. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent, managing the employee performance evaluation process, administering HR policies and procedures, resolving employee grievances, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to support business objectives
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and offboarding processes
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, employee complaints, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HR-related issues and drive continuous improvement
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- HR certification (e.g. PHR, SPHR) is preferred
