Security Engineer Job Description
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and risks in our infrastructure, developing and implementing security policies, monitoring network activity, and conducting regular security audits. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, respond to security incidents, and provide recommendations for enhancing security controls.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or a similar role
- Knowledge of network and system security principles
- Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are a plus
