Safety Engineer Job Description
The Safety Engineer plays a crucial role in promoting a safe and healthy work environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential safety risks and hazards. You will also be responsible for monitoring compliance with safety policies and regulations, conducting safety trainings, and investigating any safety incidents or near-misses.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
- Conduct risk assessments and inspections to identify potential safety hazards
- Provide safety training and education to employees and managers
- Investigate safety incidents and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, ANSI, etc.)
- Experience conducting risk assessments and inspections
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
