Reservations Assistant Job Description
As a Reservations Assistant, you will work closely with customers to provide excellent customer service and ensure their travel needs are met. You will handle reservation inquiries, process bookings, manage cancellations and modifications, and provide assistance with any issues that may arise during the reservation process. Additionally, you will communicate with customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to address any questions or concerns they may have regarding their reservations.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries regarding reservations for accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services
- Process and confirm bookings accurately and promptly
- Manage cancellations and modifications as per customer requests and company policies
- Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding their reservations
- Assist customers in resolving any issues that may arise during the reservation process
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to address inquiries and concerns
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
