Rehabilitation Counselor Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Counselor, your main responsibility will be to assist clients in overcoming physical, mental, and emotional barriers by providing guidance, counseling, and support. You will assess clients' needs, create individualized rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate the necessary services. Additionally, you will advocate for clients' rights and ensure they have access to appropriate resources and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments to determine clients' needs and goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field
  • State licensure or certification as a Rehabilitation Counselor
