Placement Co Ordinator Job Description

As a Placement Coordinator, you will be a key intermediary between students/job-seekers and potential employers. You will be responsible for matching candidates with suitable placements, organizing recruitment events, and providing guidance and support to both parties throughout the placement process.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the placement of students/job-seekers into internship, co-op, and job opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, employers, and candidates
  • Coordinate recruitment events and job fairs
  • Provide coaching and support to candidates on resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies
  • Track and report placement outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or career services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with job search and recruitment processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
