Orthopaedic Surgeon Job Description
As an Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, performing surgeries, prescribing medications, and providing comprehensive post-operative care. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' conditions and make diagnoses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRI scans, and blood tests
- Develop personalized treatment plans and discuss them with patients
- Perform surgeries, such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopic procedures
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses to treatment

Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Residency training in orthopaedic surgery
- Board certification in orthopaedic surgery
- Valid medical license to practice as an Orthopaedic Surgeon
- Excellent surgical skills and knowledge of the latest surgical techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
