Network Administrator Job Description
As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our network systems. You will monitor network performance, implement security measures, and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure network equipment and software
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues
- Implement, maintain, and upgrade network security measures
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure network connectivity and availability
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users
- Conduct network capacity planning
- Create and maintain network documentation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of network administration and protocols
- Solid understanding of network security and firewalls
- Experience with network troubleshooting tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other IT professionals
- Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus
