MERN Stack Developer Job Description
As a MERN Stack Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to develop scalable and efficient solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by users and ensuring the performance and reliability of the applications.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing user-facing web applications using MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements
- Designing and developing APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications
- Optimizing applications for maximum performance and scalability
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues reported by users and ensuring timely resolution
- Collaborating with UX/UI designers to ensure the best user experience
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a MERN Stack Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of the MERN stack and its components
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies
- Experience with server-side development using Node.js and Express.js
- Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB
- Familiarity with version control using Git
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and serverless architecture is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
