LEAD ANDROID DEVELOPER Job Description
The Lead Android Developer is responsible for the technical leadership of the Android development team. They will lead and mentor a team of talented developers, provide guidance on technical design and implementation, and ensure code quality and best practices. The Lead Android Developer will also be involved in the overall architecture and strategy for the Android platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Android developers in the design, development, testing, and deployment of mobile applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers to enhance their technical skills
- Research and evaluate new mobile technologies and industry trends
- Participate in the overall architecture and strategy discussions for the Android platform
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a lead Android developer or similar role
- Deep understanding of Android development frameworks and tools
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
