Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients
- Cook and prepare meals according to recipes or instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of garbage
- Assist in stock management, including checking inventory levels and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with chefs and other staff members to ensure efficient and timely meal service
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
