Interaction Designer Job Description
As an Interaction Designer, you will be responsible for creating user-centered designs for digital products. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to deliver innovative and intuitive user experiences. You will conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and work closely with developers to bring designs to life. Your goal will be to create engaging and seamless interactions that meet both user and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to understand user needs and gather insights for design
- Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes
- Collaborate with developers to implement designs and ensure functional and visual consistency
- Iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing
- Work closely with product managers to define project requirements and goals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in interaction design
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Interaction Designer or similar role
- Portfolio of design projects demonstrating the ability to create user-centered designs
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
- Experience with user research techniques and usability testing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
