Industrial Designer Job Description

As an Industrial Designer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop new products. You will conduct research to understand user needs and market trends, and then use that information to ideate and create design concepts. You will also collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to ensure that the final product meets design specifications and can be produced efficiently. Additionally, you will create detailed drawings and prototypes, and provide guidance during the production process to ensure quality and consistency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating innovative design concepts
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software
  • Strong sketching and visualization skills
  • Ability to conduct user research and translate insights into design solutions
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
