Human Resources Operations Specialist Job Description
As a Human Resources Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations within the organization. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating various HR activities including employee onboarding, HRIS management, benefits administration, compliance, and employee records management. Additionally, you will handle employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures, provide support for HR projects and initiatives, and maintain accurate HR documentation.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the employee onboarding process, including conducting new hire orientations and ensuring all required documentation is completed
- Oversee the HRIS system and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Manage employee records and ensure confidentiality and data integrity
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Provide support for HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management and employee engagement
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and prepare reports as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations or a similar role
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and processes
- Understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
