Housekeeper Job Description
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the facility are kept clean, sanitized, and well-maintained. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting. You will also be responsible for doing laundry, changing bed linens, and replenishing supplies. Your primary goal is to provide a comfortable and pleasant environment for our guests and residents.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including common areas, guest rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens
- Dust furniture, walls, and other surfaces
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Replenish supplies, such as toiletries and towels
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and techniques
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and perform heavy lifting
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor
