Head Of Human Resources Job Description
The Head of Human Resources oversees the recruitment, retention, training, and performance management of employees. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR matters.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's business objectives
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities
- Manage performance appraisal systems and processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
- Handle grievance and disciplinary issues
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Manage and negotiate contracts with external vendors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience as a HR Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
