Field Sales Intern Job Description

As a Field Sales Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the sales team with lead generation, prospecting, customer presentations, and sales support activities. You will collaborate with the sales team to identify potential customers, conduct market research, and assist with creating sales materials. This role will require strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and effectively convey product information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in lead generation activities, including researching potential customers and identifying key decision-makers
  • Support the sales team in prospecting activities by making calls, sending emails, and scheduling meetings
  • Assist in the preparation of customer presentations and sales materials
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to develop an understanding of the sales process
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer issues or inquiries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus
