Electrical Project Engineer Job Description
In this role, you will lead the implementation of electrical projects from conception to completion. You will be involved in all aspects of project management, including developing project plans, coordinating resources, and managing project budgets. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations, as well as troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical projects from start to finish, including planning, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to develop project plans and specifications
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project requirements are met and deadlines are achieved
- Oversee the selection and procurement of electrical equipment and materials
- Conduct site visits to verify project progress and quality of work
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during project execution
- Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
