Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Design and conduct security risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Manage and oversee physical security measures, including access control systems, surveillance cameras, and alarms.
- Implement and manage security incident response plans.
- Stay updated on the latest security technologies and trends to ensure the organization's security measures are up to date.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security issues and implement security controls.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on security policies and best practices.
- Conduct investigations into security incidents and breaches, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external security partners and agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Criminal Justice, IT Security).
- Proven experience in a security leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices.
- Experience in conducting security risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of relevant security laws and regulations.
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are a plus.
