Clinical Audiologist Job Description

The Clinical Audiologist will perform various assessments, tests, and evaluations to determine the nature and extent of hearing and balance disorders. They will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, which may include hearing aids, cochlear implants, or other assistive devices. The Clinical Audiologist will also provide counseling and support to patients and their families, educating them on hearing loss and prevention strategies. They may collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Audiology
  • Valid state licensure as a Clinical Audiologist
  • Experience in conducting assessments and tests for hearing and balance disorders
  • Proficiency in using audiometric equipment and software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to empathize with patients and provide compassionate care
