Building Management System Operator Job Description
As a Building Management System Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining building systems to ensure optimal performance and occupant comfort. You will work with automated systems to control HVAC, lighting, security, and other building functions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control building systems through automated Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Respond to system alarms and troubleshoot issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on building systems
- Coordinate with facility management staff to address maintenance and repair needs
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Building Management System Operator or a similar role
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and building automation systems
