Biological Technician Job Description
As a Biological Technician, you will support research and development activities in the field of biology. You will work closely with biologists and other scientists to conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and assist in the development of new products or processes. Your role will involve preparing samples, setting up and maintaining laboratory equipment, and recording and interpreting experimental results. You will also be responsible for documenting findings, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist biologists and scientists in conducting experiments and carrying out research
- Collect biological samples, prepare specimens, and perform basic laboratory tests
- Record and analyze data, and assist in interpreting experimental results
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
- Prepare and sterilize lab materials and ensure compliance with safety protocols
