Administrative Assistant Job Description

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of administrative tasks including managing calendars, preparing documents and reports, organizing meetings and events, and handling correspondence. You will also be responsible for maintaining office supplies and making travel arrangements for staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars and schedule meetings
  • Prepare and distribute memos, letters, and reports
  • Organize and maintain files and records
  • Handle incoming and outgoing emails and correspondence
  • Coordinate and arrange travel arrangements
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and other materials
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Greet and assist visitors to the office
  • Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking
  • Perform general administrative support tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
