Accounts Head Job Description

As the Accounts Head, you will lead the finance team and collaborate with other departments to drive financial performance, optimize processes, and implement financial strategies. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and managing cash flow. Additionally, you will monitor financial trends, identify risk areas, and provide recommendations for improving financial operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's financial operations
Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial reporting, including monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including the development and monitoring of financial targets
Manage cash flow, including forecasting and optimizing working capital
Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies to drive profitability and growth
Monitor financial trends, analyze variances, and identify risk areas
Provide financial insights and recommendations to the senior leadership team
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards
Supervise and develop the finance team, including performance management and talent development

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or equivalent certification
Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced organization
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Proficient in financial software and ERP systems
Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights
