Job Title: AGM/DGM – Human Resources

 

Role Overview:

 

The HR Lead will be one of the key Founding Team members and play a pivotal role in shaping the culture, policies, and talent strategy at RISE International Preschool. This position involves overseeing all human resource functions, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission of providing a nurturing and innovative environment for early learners. This role will lead recruitment, training, employee engagement, and compliance efforts while fostering a collaborative workplace culture.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition and Recruitment

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent for teaching and non-teaching roles.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

2. Training and Development

  • Design and implement professional development programs tailored to preschool educators and staff.
  • Foster continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and team-building activities.

3. Employee Engagement and Retention

  • Build a positive work culture that aligns with the preschool’s vision and values.
  • Address employee concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and morale.
  • Create recognition programs to celebrate achievements and milestones.

4. Compliance and Policy Management

  • Ensure the school adheres to labor laws, safety regulations, and NEP guidelines.
  • Develop and update employee handbooks, contracts, and policies.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR practices to ensure legal compliance.

5. Performance Management

  • Implement performance appraisal systems for continuous feedback and growth.
  • Guide managers in setting clear objectives and measuring outcomes.

6. HR Administration

  • Manage payroll processes, leave policies, and attendance systems.
  • Oversee HR software and databases for efficient record-keeping.

7. Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with leadership to forecast staffing needs based on school growth.
  • Advise on market trends and strategies for competitive HR practices.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR management, in the education sector.
  • Strong understanding of labour laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
