Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Graduate Engineering Trainee to join our team in Coimbatore on a full-time basis. As a fresher in this role, you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced professionals in structural steel detailing and building information management. The ideal candidate should possess a BE in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Tekla Structures for creating detailed 3D models and shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of AISC standards (Mandatory skill) required for ensuring quality in steel detailing projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE CIVIL) (Mandatory skill) to apply theoretical knowledge practically.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE MECHANICAL) is essential for understanding interdisciplinary aspects.
• Familiarity with SDS and BIM tools for efficient building information management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with other engineers and clients.
• Attention to detail is critical in ensuring accurate and precise detailing work.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex engineering drawings and data.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed structural steel drawings and models using advanced software tools.
• Coordinate with senior engineers to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
• Participate in project planning and execution by reviewing design concepts and technical diagrams.
• Engage in pre-project cost estimation and material take-off for accurate project assessments.
• Support the engineering team in analyzing and implementing AISC standards in assignments.
• Contribute to generating reports and documentation required for project approvals and client delivery.
• Utilize SDS and BIM tools to manage and present building information in standardized formats.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to further your knowledge in structural detailing and engineering practices.
