Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled Tech & Management Lead to oversee the development and deployment of the web application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web application development, project management, and team leadership. They should be able to drive the technical roadmap while ensuring smooth coordination between developers, designers, and business stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end development of the Mahivo web application.
  • Define the technical architecture, database structure, and technology stack.
  • Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and user-friendly.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure timely coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
  • Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance platform functionality.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Develop a product roadmap and set development milestones.
  • Act as a bridge between business requirements and technical execution.
  • Coordinate with UI/UX designers, front-end/back-end developers, and QA teams.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to agile development methodologies.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the development process.
  • Communicate progress and challenges to the founder and stakeholders.
  • Manage and optimize the budget for technology development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in web development technologies (React.js, Node.js, Python, or similar).
  • Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with API development, integrations, and security protocols.
  • Project Management & Leadership:
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in leading tech teams and software projects.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in B2B marketplaces, e-commerce, or procurement platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in startup environments or early-stage tech development.
  • Ability to build and scale teams as the company grows.
