Job Description*
• To facilitate timely fulfillment of materials to the production according to production plan
• To monitor material receipts, inspection, proper storage & preservation, issuance, stock transfer, shortage, rejection & returns, job work and ensuring completion of each activity well in time.
• Responsible for stores administration, daily/weekly/monthly stores MIS, controlling on Non/Slow moving items, Disposal of surplus / not usable / obsolete inventory, Audits and preparation of dashboard for the management.
• Physical verification & reconciliation of inventory at every month end & control inventory deviations.
• Ensuring work safety, optimum inventory, minimization of material losses & reduction in inventory carrying cost.
• Implementation of FIFO & FO for all the materials as per material nature.
• Execution of Finish Goods dispatches with prompt documentation from the plant.
• Coordinate to Accounts department for statutory inventory audits & reports, to handle quarries in terms of Excise / Taxation and invoice processing for payments.
