Key Accountabilities:

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for leading the sales efforts of the travel insurance products within a specific region or market segment.


This includes managing a sales team, developing strategies to drive growth, and ensuring that sales targets and objectives are met.


The Key Account Manager will play a key role in fostering relationships with clients, agents, and brokers, and will have a hands-on approach in training and developing the sales team.


This role requires an understanding of travel insurance products, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to grow and manage an agency sales network, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain knowledge of industry trends and policies.


Key Responsibilities:


• Agency channel management- Recruiting, screening, and training new agents.

• Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Manage Sales Activities: Independently handle all sales responsibilities, including prospecting, client relationships, and performance tracking to meet targets.

• Sales Training and Development: Self-train and stay updated on travel insurance products and sales techniques to effectively manage and close sales independently.

• Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue growth in travel insurance sales.

• Set personal sales targets and objectives, track progress, and evaluate performance to ensure goals are consistently met.

• Analyze market trends, competitive products, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies and improve offerings.

• Monitor sales performance metrics and report on results to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements based on data analysis.

• Foster relationships with travel agencies, insurance brokers, and other distribution channels to drive sales.

• Develop accurate sales forecasts and set achievable monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
