Job Description

Title: Sr. Procurement Executive

Department: Procurement

Experience: 3-8 years

Salary: Upto 35000 (Negotiable)

Location: Goregaon

 Job Profile and Responsibilities

● Prepare, and place purchase orders for raw materials and laboratory consumables

● Review purchase orders to ensure product cost, payment terms, product information, and delivery information are accurate

● Negotiate with domestic and international suppliers for order finalization and Import raw materials through ocean freight

● Coordinate with sales and production teams to place orders as per weekly and monthly raw material planning

● Follow up with raw material suppliers on regular basis to ensure shipment and delivery on promised dates

● Maintain physical and digital records of purchases and related documentation

● Record price movements of key raw materials on monthly basis

● Update supplier register on monthly to track raw material purchases

Candidate Profile

● Prior experience as a Procurement Executive in Chemicals/Pharma industry

● Graduate degree in Engineering/Science Commerce from reputed and recognized University in India

● Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures including imports

● Ability to grasp technical specifications of chemicals and consumables

● Proficient in MS Office Programs, in particular Excel

● Good time management and organization skills
