PLC/HMI/SCADA PROGRAMMER

Role of a programmer is to program PLC/SCADA/HMI, simulation and testing, and start-up commissioning at factory and at customer’s site. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in developing advanced PLC/HMI logic and programming with any or all of the following software vendors: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Delta, Mitsubishi etc.; and SCADA programming and configuration of any of the following software vendors: Siemens WinCC, Indusoft, Elipse etc.

Position Requirements:      

· 1-4 years direct work experience programming, testing and commissioning advanced control systems in a variety of industries (i.e. Pharma & Food Processing.)         

· He should be sound enough to decide the PLC/HMI/scada models as per the Customer’s URS.

· He should be able make a I/O List as per the URS and P&ID.

· He should be able to Write programming logic as per the Project. 

· Ability to complete assigned tasks and maintain schedule for multiple projects as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.         

· Ability to evaluate and convey contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins and/or scheduling changes to the assigned project manager.

· Background in electrical and instrumentation wiring and troubleshooting an asset.

· Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

· Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem- solving capabilities.

· Experience reading electrical schematics/wiring diagrams and PI&D drawings.

· Must have an appropriate college or graduate degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering/ Instrumentation.

· Programming experience with .Net, C/C++, C#, VB/VB.Net, SQL/TSQL/SQL+ or other high level language is a strong asset.

· Electrical design/drafting experience with AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, promis-e, etc. is a definite asset.

· Flexible working hours with the ability to travel on occasion.

· Strong written and oral English communication skills. Any other spoken or written languages would be considered an asset.

· Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

· Must have experience in pharma equipment & process

· Preparation of functional specification and validation Documents consider as asset .
