Candidate must have 3 to 7 yrs experience in cargo / Logistics / Transport industries. Candidate must have knowledge in operation

1.      Communicate with the previous Shift Incharge to review any special instructions to be carried out.

2.      Ensure the timely arrival of adequate clerks and load men for the shift.

3.      Hold a brief meeting to discuss the plan for the day.

4.      Monitor en route vehicles to ensure they arrive on time.

5.      Coordinate with agents to confirm vehicle requirements for door collection and office clearance.

6.      Ensure the dispatch of route vehicles according to the established schedule.

7.      Verify that all local vehicles arrive before the cut off time.

8.      Confirm that vehicles are loaded properly, ensuring payload does not exceed capacity.

9.      Provide clear instructions to duty staff, prioritizing bookings, arrival dates, and customer-specific requirements during loading.

10.    Accompany the loading/unloading clerk when handling lot items.

11.    Inspect the loaded/unloaded goods and check the number of goods with the FMS entry to ensure accuracy.

12.    Notify the Manager/Assistant Manager (Yard) of any operational deviations.

13.    Review the VMS and TLUS entries to ensure loaded/unloaded items are correctly documented.

14.    Promote safe handling practices to the load men.

15.    Ensure each load man handles up to 8 MT per shift.

16.    Prioritize vehicles that are crossing.

17.    Follow any special instructions from Managers without fail.

18.    Provide ongoing training and education to load men and clerks.

19.    Ensure timely delivery by retaining goods for the specified date and time, and make necessary arrangements for prompt delivery.
