Location: Lucknow (Onsite Preferred)

Salary: ₹5 to ₹7 LPA

Shift Timing: Night Shift

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented US Payroll Executive to manage the accurate and timely processing of salaries, wages, and benefits while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of US payroll laws, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and verify employee time and attendance data to calculate payroll components such as regular hours, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
  • Accurately process payroll on schedule using payroll software, adhering to all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Reconcile payroll records and resolve discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and flexible spending accounts, ensuring accurate deductions and timely remittances.
  • Maintain compliance with payroll tax laws by calculating, withholding, and remitting federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual returns.
  • Generate detailed payroll reports for management, HR, and finance departments.
  • Prepare and distribute employee pay slips, W-2 forms, and year-end tax documents.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clarity on taxes, benefits, and deductions.
  • Register new states for payroll compliance (SIT, SUI) and maintain records of state-related communications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Proven expertise in payroll management, with a specific focus on US payroll processes.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Comprehensive understanding of US payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software, especially major US payroll platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in ADP payroll systems.
  • Analytical Abilities: Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration and support.
