Hi,

We are hiring Software Testing for our client semiconductor industry located in Coimbatore.

Key Responsibilities:

● Manual Testing:

○ Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for new and existing software

features.

○ Identify, document, and track defects in a clear and concise manner.

○ Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and

functionality.

● Automation Testing:

○ Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium,

Cypress, or similar frameworks.

○ Perform automated regression and smoke tests to ensure software stability.

○ Continuously improve the efficiency and coverage of automated tests.

● CI/CD Knowledge:

○ Understand and assist with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous

Deployment (CD) processes.

○ Participate in automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines.

○ Ensure that test scripts and results are integrated into the deployment pipeline.

● Test Case Development:

○ Write comprehensive test cases and test plans based on functional and technical

specifications.

○ Perform test case reviews and identify gaps in test coverage.

● Defect Management:

○ Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution.

○ Work closely with developers to analyze root causes and suggest solutions for

defects.

● Collaboration:

○ Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and

DevOps engineers, to ensure high-quality product delivery.

○ Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the overall quality of the product.

● Documentation & Reporting:

○ Maintain detailed documentation for test cases, testing processes, and test

results.

○ Provide regular test reports and progress updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

● Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, testing, or a related field.

● Technical Skills:

○ Experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies.

○ Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or other

automation frameworks.

○ Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools

(e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

○ Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).

● Testing Knowledge:

○ Strong understanding of test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.

○ Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

○ Knowledge of various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, integration,

and smoke testing).

● Soft Skills:

○ Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.

○ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

○ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

○ A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous learning.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

● Experience with performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

● Exposure to on prem Deployment

● Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

● Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
