Position

Shift Incharge - Production

Qualitification

B.E / B.Tech / M.Sc - 1st Class - Chemical Engineering / Oil & Fats Technology - From a reputed institute

Experience

Atleast 7 years hands on in edible oil & allied industry / chemical process industry

Atleast 3 years as shift incharge leading a team & handling production

Basic knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation

Good knowledge on safety requirements

Expertise

Sound knowledge in edible oil extraction & processing - crushing, refining, bleaching, filtration, fat modification, deodorisation, packing etc

Sound knowledge in continous and batch operations

Good knowledge on pumps, fans, compressors, blowers, heat exchangers, high speed rotating equiments, cooiling towers etc

Good knowledge of hazards and safety requirements present in edible oil processing

Good knowledge of process driven quality controls & food safety standards

Knowledge of operating SCADA / DCS etc

Trouble shoot process, quality & engineering problems

Computational skills

Job Descrpition

Overall incharge of the plant during the shift

Responsible for Safety of men, machine & material during the shift

Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements

Ensure SOP's are strictly adhered by all sections of the plant during the shift

Ensure compliance to production targets within budgeted conversion costs

Maximise productivity with zero tolerance to safety & quality deviations

Achieve 95% OEE & 95% Capacity Utilisation

Lead, Motivate & Train the employees

Generate shift production and consumption reports

Ensure high levels of hygiene, GMP, GHK , 5S, TPM etc are deployed and practised

Support cross functional teams on technical fronts

Support in developing & executing capex projects

Conduct Safety mock drills, fire protection system testings & trainings, tool box talks etc
