Network Design and Implementation

 Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.

 Develop network solutions that meet business requirements and ensure scalability, security, and reliability.

 Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to integrate network services with other technologies.

Network Monitoring and Maintenance

 Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network performance.

 Perform regular network maintenance tasks, including firmware and software updates, patch management, and system backups.

 Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security measures.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

 Provide advanced technical support for network-related issues and incidents.

 Diagnose and resolve complex network problems in a timely manner.

 Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.

Project Management

 Lead network-related projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.

 Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project success.

 Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

Compliance and Security

 Ensure network infrastructure complies with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

 Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

 Implement and enforce network policies and procedures to maintain a secure and efficient network environment.

Training and Mentoring

 Provide training and mentorship to junior network engineers and other IT staff.

 Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and trends, and share knowledge with the team.

 Develop and deliver training sessions and materials to enhance team skills and knowledge.

 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadline.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CISSP) are preferred.

Experience:

 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with a proven track

record in designing, implementing, and managing complex network

systems.

 Extensive experience with network hardware (routers, switches,

firewalls, etc.) and software.
