Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Paid Assistant for a full-time position located in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have between 1 to 3 years of work experience and will support various financial functions. This role requires hands-on expertise in accounting software and financial management, ensuring seamless operations aligned with organizational goals.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and QuickBooks is mandatory for effective management of financial data and records (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with GST compliance processes and preparing accurate tax filings is essential for this role.
  • Ability to perform efficient bank reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
  • Strong account management skills for maintaining and updating financial records with precision and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and understanding of basic accounting principles to assist with audit preparations.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising between departments and ensuring clear and consistent information flow.
  • Possess analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues effectively and promptly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team to support accounting procedures and manage financial tasks efficiently.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger tasks.
  • Manage the preparation and management of invoices and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Conduct monthly financial closings and support in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Participate in budget preparation and forecasting activities to support financial planning processes.
  • Maintain compliance with corporate policies and internal controls to ensure integrity in financial reporting.
  • Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation and information during audits.
  • Utilize accounting software for accurate bookkeeping and financial record maintenance.
