We are hiring "Head Engineer" for our client Aditya Birla Renewables Limited for Mumbai Location.

Salary - 55 to 75 LPA

Exp : 16 - 22 yrs

Notice Period - 60 days

Qualification : BTECH, MTECH.

Supporting Actions (

a) To carry out detailed  designs & drawings including system  engineering in a time bound manner for Solar & Wind Projects.

· Develop expertise for detailed Civil, structural  and electrical engineering.

· Have strong in-house engineering resource.

· Resource planning and optimization to  meet timeline.

· Motivate team members to stretch

· Create design check list.

· Have adequate  software & database including codes &  standards.

b) Design Optimization & Value Addition

· Value based engineering

· Keep abreast with latest technological trends

· Optimize designs by using various possible design options and product  specifications.

· Design for faster speed and ease of construction  and erection.

c) Plant performance

· Factory  inspection of critical items

· Fool proofing of designs

· Follow standards

d) Make engineering estimate for all supplies & services item

· Prepare Tech  specification & BOQ for supply & services.

· Standardization of specification by use of templates

· Provide service.

e) Engg schedule & design basis report

· Develop good engineering managers

· Prepare engineering deliverable schedule including MDL in line with project  schedule

· Prepare design basic report for complete project specifying detailed design criteria for  civil, structural, electrical and control engineering.

· Provide commissioning procedure

f) Review Engineering

· Review of vendors, layout and datasheet.

· Review of consultants design and specification etc.

g) Engineering for Transmission system / and substation

· Develop expertise for transmission line design and engineering.

· Develop expertise for substation engineering and design.

h) Vendor Development

· Create potential vendor base after  thorough product and vendor evaluation.

· Develop vendors and products to suit our requirements.

i) Provide support to Business Development  Team & coordination with vendor engineers.

· Site visits.

· Technical discussion with customers along with Business development teams.

· Detailed Project Report for vendors.

Relationships: Describe the nature and purpose of most important contacts or relationship (except superior/team-members) with individuals, departments, organizations inside and outside of the organization, that job is required to interact with in order to deliver the job objective

· To support and co-ordinate with procurement team to finalize orders of different  components and prepare Tech spec  BOQ & drawings for floating inquiry and quotes.

· To support BD team to quote BOQ & derive tariff for different project during pre-bid  discussion and assumptions during costing

· To coordinate & support to Project & site  team on all engineering matters  to ensure schedule completion of projects.
