We are looking for a Cold Storage Incharge for our client in Ambathur, Manjappakam. The ideal candidate will oversee the management of cold storage facilities, ensuring the quality and safety of stored goods through effective inventory and temperature control.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 2 year of experience in managing cold storage facilities
• Strong understanding of cold storage operations and the handling of perishable goods.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to ensure efficient operation of the storage facility.
• Ability to monitor and maintain optimal storage conditions, including temperature and humidity control.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve storage-related issues promptly.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams.
• Experience with inventory management systems and good record-keeping practices.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the cold storage facility, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Monitor and control storage conditions to maintain the quality and safety of stored goods.
• Oversee the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of perishable goods.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams for timely and efficient storage operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Conduct regular inspections of storage areas to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment.
• Identify and resolve any issues related to storage conditions, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies.
• Prepare reports on storage operations, inventory status, and any incidents or deviations from standard procedures.

Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical

Age : 25 and Above

Preference will be given to in and around Chennai Area
