Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in month-end close processes is mandatory to ensure timely and accurate financial statements (Mandatory skill).
• Strong skills in preparing accurate financial reports that detail the organization's financial status for stakeholders.
• Thorough understanding of accounts receivable processes to ensure prompt and efficient collections.
• Ability to manage accounts payable activities, ensuring that all financial obligations are met on time.
• Proficiency in reconciliations to maintain accurate records of company transactions and financial statements.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting purposes.
• Experience working with Tally for efficient management of financial and business accounting processes.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the capacity to identify discrepancies in financial records.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings to ensure that financial results are reported timely and accurately.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements reflecting the organization's financial status.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to optimize cash flow and financial health.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Utilize Excel for financial analysis and reporting, providing insights to support management decisions.
• Manage accounting transactions in Tally, ensuring strict compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support internal audits and facilitate compliance with statutory requirements.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
