Service Head – Heavy Commercial vehicle

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Head to lead and manage the servicing operations for heavy commercial vehicles across the Kerala region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 15+ years in servicing heavy commercial vehicles, strong leadership skills, and prior experience managing operations at a regional level.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Operations Management:

- Oversee and manage end-to-end service operations for heavy commercial vehicles in the Kerala region.

- Ensure timely and efficient resolution of service issues to meet customer satisfaction and organizational standards.

- 

Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of service managers, technicians, and support staff across multiple service locations.

- Conduct regular training programs to enhance technical skills and operational efficiency.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

- Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure business objectives are met.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure long-term business growth.

- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated service issues and ensure prompt resolution.

Budget and Cost Control:

- Prepare and manage the service department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

- Identify areas for cost optimization while maintaining service quality standards.

Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory standards across service operations.

- Implement and monitor compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Requirements:

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in servicing heavy commercial vehicles, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Proven experience in managing regional operations, preferably in Kerala.

- Strong technical expertise in heavy commercial vehicle servicing and maintenance.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to analyze data, create reports, and make strategic decisions to enhance operations.

- Strong problem-solving and customer management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

- Proficiency in regional languages (Malayalam) will be an added advantage
