Jr. Engineer - Greenhouse Engineering / 3D Draftsperson – Greenhouse Engineering

Job Title: Jr. Engineer– Greenhouse Engineering /3D Draftsperson – Greenhouse Engineering

Location: Pune, India

Reporting to: Manager and Greenhouse Engineering Department

General Role Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Draftsperson to support the

Greenhouse/Implementation Engineering team.

The position includes:

- Creating 3D models and 2D technical drawings of greenhouse structures based on engineering input from the Israeli team, using SolidWorks.

- Ability to use 3D software as Inventor for modeling Solid part, Assembly &; Drawing knowledge will be added advantage.

- Preparing foundation layouts, equipment positioning, and site placement drawings using AutoCAD.

- Producing installation manuals using SolidWorks Composer.

- Responsibility for showing the BOM (Bill of Materials) on drawing.

- Coordination with Project team (Designer, Implementation and Draftsman) from the Detailed

Characterization to the Final output.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop accurate 3D models of greenhouse structures and related components.

- Generate 2D manufacturing and assembly drawings from the 3D models.

- Ensure compliance with internal engineering and drafting standards.

- Maintain organized version control and documentation of design updates.

- Collaborate regularly with engineers in Israel for design revisions, improvements, and clarifications.

- Assist in the standardization and documentation of typical components, assemblies, and

installation/maintenance manuals (“Project Books”).

- Ability of handling ipart, iassembly & tube & pipe in Inventor

- Advantage – Basic knowledge of Pump, valves (Solenoid & Hydraulic) & pipes (Stainless steel, PVC & PE).

- Accuracy and Strictness in drawings.

- Multi-tasking - simultaneously work with several jobs / tasks

Minimum Requirements:

- Education: Diploma/Degree in the Civil Engineering , Structural Design (Building Engineering), or a related technical field.

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in 3D drafting – preferably involving metal structures.

- Full proficiency in SolidWorks, SolidWorks Composer & Autodesk Inventor– required.

- Experience with document management systems such as PDM – strong advantage.

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD – advantage.

- Advantage – Basic knowledge of Pump, valves (Solenoid & Hydraulic) & pipes (Stainless steel, PVC & PE).

- Experience working with global or remote teams – advantage.

- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

- Strong English communication skills – both spoken and written.

Additional Notes:

- Prior greenhouse experience is not required, but structural drafting or building experience in solid works software is a strong asset.

- Irrigation system experience is not required, but Autodesk Inventor software experience is a strong asset.

- Training and ongoing guidance will be provided by the engineering team.
