PRIMARY AND MANDATORY TASKS

A.     Project Designing

• Interpret client requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately.
• Create and finalize designs to meet project requirements
• Conduct trials in case design modification before finalising
• 3-D designing for specific assemblies in the product portfolio

B.     New product development

• Research and come up with new ideas for products and the systems used to create them
• Analyse existing products with a view to improving their efficiency and overall performance
• Create initial drafts and final designs of products
• Develop virtual models of different designs using computer software
• Find out the manufacturing requirements by examining materials and other technical product details.
• Create product prototypes and conduct trails
• Evaluate the function, safety and appearance of products to ensure they have a practical design

Coordinate with a variety of departments within your organisation including sales, production and marketing
