Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Video Editor who is eager to learn and grow in digital content editing.

This role focuses on editing long-form YouTube videos and repurposing them into engaging short-form content for social media platforms.

This is a skill-building opportunity for someone with basic editing knowledge and a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (20–60 minutes)
• Repurpose long-form content into
• YouTube Shorts
• Instagram Reels
• Ensure clean cuts, smooth pacing, and clear storytelling
• Add basic captions, zoom-ins, and B-roll where required
• Follow brand editing guidelines and internal SOPs
• Deliver projects within deadlines
• Implement feedback and revisions promptly

Requirements

• Working knowledge of any professional video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
• Basic understanding of YouTube and Instagram video formats
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn, improve, and take feedback positively
• Ability to handle multiple revisions
• Reliable system and stable internet connection for editing work

What This Role Does Not Require

• This position focuses on clean, efficient editing — not advanced cinematic production.
• No heavy cinematic effects
• No over-the-top transitions
• Motion graphics expertise is not required (a plus, but optional)
