About the Role

We are hiring a backend-focused Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and work on a live SaaS platform used in production.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building scalable backend systems, solving real-world problems, and taking ownership of features from design to deployment. You will work on core product infrastructure and help scale the platform as the company grows.

This is a high-impact role with strong technical ownership and growth potential.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI

Build and manage asynchronous workflows and background processing systems

Integrate and maintain AWS infrastructure (S3, EC2, RDS, Kinesis)

Design and implement clean, reliable APIs

Debug and optimize production systems

Collaborate on frontend integrations (TypeScript)

Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability

Participate in architectural and technical decisions

Write clean, testable, production-ready code

Required Skills

Strong experience with Python backend development

Experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks

Understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency

Experience with background job systems (Celery or similar)

AWS fundamentals (S3, EC2, RDS)

SQL and database fundamentals

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Git workflow and version control

Ability to understand and improve existing codebases

Nice to Have

TypeScript / frontend experience

Docker / DevOps familiarity

Production monitoring experience

Experience with distributed systems

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
