Job Description: Business Development Representative (BDR)

Role Overview
Adaga is looking for a high-ownership Business Development Representative (BDR) who is directly responsible for closing calls and revenue outcomes.
This is not a coordination or support role. You will be trained & Given clear monthly targets, and you are expected to achieve them independently using all available outbound and inbound channels.
You will own the entire sales motion — from lead generation to pitching, follow-ups, and closing.
Key Responsibility:
- OWNERSHIP OF NUMBERS
You will be accountable for:
- Number of qualified calls conducted
- Number of closing calls
- Deals closed
- Revenue generated
Targets will be defined clearly. How you hit them is your responsibility.
Core Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting (Outbound Ownership)
You are responsible for building your own pipeline, including:
Building targeted lead lists using tools and platforms
Prospecting via:
- Instagram DMs
- Cold calling
- LinkedIn outreach
- Cold email outreach
- - Identifying decision-makers and relevant stakeholders
- - Ensuring lead quality aligns with Adaga’s ICP
There is no dependency on marketing leads alone. You are expected to proactively create opportunities.
2. Inbound & Outbound Call Handling
Handle inbound leads (calls, forms, referrals)
Proactively schedule outbound discovery and closing calls
Qualify prospects based on budget, need, authority, and intent
Maintain a clean pipeline and follow defined sales stages
3. Sales Calls, Pitching & Closing
- Conduct Google Meet / Zoom calls with prospects
- Present Adaga’s offerings clearly and confidently
- Customize pitches based on prospect context
- Handle objections independently
- Drive conversations toward clear next steps or closures
- Close deals without hand-holding
- You are expected to sell, not just present.
4. Follow-Ups & Deal Closure
- Own follow-ups until the deal is either closed or clearly disqualified
- Use multiple follow-up channels (calls, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn)
- Maintain urgency and momentum in deals
- Ensure no warm lead goes cold due to lack of follow-up
5. Ad-hoc Sales Enablement & Asset Improvement
- Actively contribute to improving:
- Pitch decks
- Presentations
- Sales scripts
- Outreach messages
- Share on-ground feedback to improve conversions
- Suggest changes that help close more deals faster
- This role expects thinking like an owner, not “just executing”.
Targets & Performance Measurement
You will be evaluated on:
- Monthly revenue closed
- Number of qualified closing calls
- Conversion rate from call to close
- Pipeline creation vs targets
- Follow-up discipline and CRM hygiene
- Effort is not measured. Results are.
