Immediate Looking for the Vessels Operations Assistant in Chartering. Must have similar experience for this serious go-getting opportunity.

Salary Range : No bar for deserving candidates

Experience: 4-6 Years

Job Description:

·         All the activities associated with the chartering of vessels and management of contract cargoes as well as all necessary liaison with post fixture operational functions

·         To develop and maintain excellent working relationship with the market participants (brokers, owners, operators, shippers, receivers and freight traders) so that the company is strategically positioned to take advantage of opportunities as they emerge.

·         To assist be in drawing up income budgets for the respective vessels under operations and Voyage Estimations.

·         To Liaise with Post Fixture staff to ensure all operational procedures are adhered to

·         To maintain proper accounts transaction-wise and in total

·         To ensure & supervise that all payments with regard to brokerage commission, charter hire for chartered in vessels, claims, etc., are accurate and that they represent the minimum requirement for an amicable settlement

·         The liaise with Ship Masters and take daily report on the voyage, loading and unloading of materials

·         Communicate with vessel owners and staff as and when required

·         To liaise with Ship Agents for daily reporting

·         Prepare daily reports for Management to understand status of cargo loading and unloading

·         To finalize accounts with Owners/Charters

·         Preparation of SOF

·         Preparation of Invoices to buyers


Skills required:

·         Experience and Knowledge in vessels operations

·         Understanding of Cargo loading and unloading terms

·         Good communication skills on e-mail and otherwise

·         Knowledge of accounting

·         Knowledge of SOF (Statement of Account)

·         Knowledge of reporting procedures
