Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager with a strong background in the CGD sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CNG/PNG/CBG processes and equipment, along with proven managerial abilities to oversee plant operations efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Strategy Development:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, optimize resource utilization, and achieve production targets.

• Analyze market trends, customer demands, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for operational improvement and growth.

Production Management:

• Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.

• Ensure that production processes are carried out efficiently, meeting quality standards, cost targets, and delivery deadlines.

• Monitor production output, downtime, and yield rates to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve performance.

Team Leadership & Development:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of production supervisors, operators, and support staff.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production team.

Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure the development of a skilled and motivated workforce.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures and standards to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements.

• Work closely with the quality assurance team to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.

Supply Chain Management:

Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and supplies.

Optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts through effective demand forecasting, inventory control, and supplier management.

Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

• Champion lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.

• Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in identifying process inefficiencies, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions for waste reduction and productivity improvement.

• Promote a culture of innovation and experimentation to foster creativity and drive process innovation.

Health & Safety Management:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.

• Promote safety awareness and provide training to employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.

Performance Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare regular reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance, efficiency, and resource utilization.

• Analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and present findings to senior management.

• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to develop budgets, forecast production costs, and monitor expenses.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree.

·       Minimum of 4-6 years of experience manufacturing firm operations

·       Proficient in MS Office & English

·       Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
